​​Mujer on the Move, Inc. (MOTM) was intentionally created to provide all Latinas and mujeres Aventureras (adventurous women 21+) with a safe, unique, and intentional travel community while exploring different cities and states throughout Latin America (LATAM). MOTM is an inclusive and safe space for all women (21+), however, it does center and caters specifically to the Latina/Latine experience.

This means that all MOTM Experiences, Retreats, and Merch items are created with the intention of connecting Latinas to their Latine roots and motherlands. MOTM Services, Retreats, and Merchandise items are culturally rich, uphold the beautiful "Spanglish" language, and center beautiful LATAM symbols, flowers, birds, histories, etc. Therefore, all diverse Aventureras who engage in MOTM related Services and Experiences (MOTM Experiences, MOTM Retreats, MOTM Merch, MOTM social networks) agree to adhere to our "MOTM Aventurera Values."

What makes MOTM Experiences different from those offered by competitors? A: Mujer on the Move Inc. is different from other experience/tours, retreat, and travel companies for various reasons. First, MOTM exclusively services Latinas and adventurous women (21+) in the LATAM region. By focusing on Latinas and women seeking culturally enriching and safe experiences throughout LATAM, MOTM is able to better research our customer wants/needs and LATAM regions. This concentrated effort allows us to create unique, safe, and joyful experiences for Latinas and women (21+). Second, MOTM really aims to connect Latinas to their Latine motherlands and cultures by allowing a safe travel space for them to be fully themselves, middle ground and all! Finally, MOTM personalizes each experience and retreat, offering MOTM Aventureras an unforgettable and unique experience they won't be able to find anywhere else!
What is the typical price of MOTM Experiences? A: The price per MOTM Experience will vary. However, typically MOTM Experiences will range between $35 - $125 US dollars. There are several factors that influence the pricing of a MOTM Experience, including but not limited to, experience location, experience hours, hourly rate of MOTM guide, special instructor/collaborator (e.g. local artist, chef, artesano, etc.), items included in experience (e.g. coffees, snacks, drinks, etc.). At Mujer on the Move, Inc. we try our best to provide our Aventureras with the best prices for the most exclusive unique experiences!
How many hours does a MOTM Experience typically last? A: Typically MOTM experiences can last anywhere between 2-5 hours. After conducting extensive customer research from fellow MOTM Aventureras, we found that this time-frame works best for our Aventureras! It also allows us to create different price ranges to accommodate for our Aventureras' various budgets.
Can I join or bring friends if they are not Latinas? A: YES! Of course, fellow Aventureras who are non Latinas are invited to participate in MOTM Experiences and Retreats. However, please keep in mind that MOTM was created specifically for Latinas, to help connect them to their Latine culture and LATAM motherlands. Meaning, MOTM Experiences will always center the Latina experience and identity. This includes but is not limited to the use of Spanglish, Latine cultural reference, Latine/Latine identity conversations, etc.
Can I participate in various MOTM Experiences during my trip? A: YES! Although we do not have an option yet to book multiple MOTM Experience at once, you are more than welcomed to book multiple MOTM Experiences during your trip! In fact, we encourage Avnetureras to do more than one MOTM Experience per location, given that every experience includes a different souvenir, topic, adventure!
So what are Mujer on the Move (MOTM) Experiences? How does this work? A: Mujer on the Move, Inc. (MOTM) Experiences are for Aventureras who were already planning on traveling to the locations we offer services in. For example, if you have a trip planned for Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico and are looking for something fun to do, MOTM Experiences are here to help! You can easily book a MOTM x CDMX experience, as long as it is available during your time of visit. Basically, think of MOTM Experiences as Aventuras, adventures, you can plug into your itinerary! It's that simple.
What is included in a MOTM Experience? A: Every Mujer on the Move Experience, regardless of location and type of experience, will include the following: bilingual MOTM guide, some type of complementary service and/or treats (e.g. special classes, coffee, local snacks and food, etc.), one of a kind MOTM souvenir.
What is NOT included in a MOTM Experience? A: The following is NOT included in your MOTM Experience: personal travel accommodations to and from the location of the MOTM Experience, tips for MOTM guides (if you would like to tip, you can do so directly to your tour guide), any additional snacks or services not exclusively listed on your booking.
I booked a MOTM Experience but can no longer make it, now what? Cancellations & Refunds A: We know that sometimes unexpected changes may arise in your travel plans. While we want to be as accommodating as possible to our MOTM Aventureras, we also have a strict MOTM Experience Cancellation & Refund policy we want you to be aware of.
Will MOTM Experiences offer travel insurance? A: No. Mujer on the Move, Inc. is not responsible for your travel insurance. Although all of our experiences will be relatively safe, walkable, and easy to engage in, we will have Aventureras sign liability waivers. That being said, however, we suggest you do ample research on great travel insurance companies and get your own travel insurance either when booking your flight or lodging.
Can I bring my children and or male partner or family member? A: No. At the moment, Mujer on the Move is exclusively for Latinas and Aventureras (women 21+). Unfortunately, this means that children and men are currently not allowed to participate in MOTM Experiences.
