Code of Conduct for Mujer on the Move

("MOTM") Experiences and MOTM Retreats

RESPECT: 

At Mujer on the Move Inc. ("Mujer on the Move" or "MOTM" or "we" or "us") we truly value RESPECT for all involved: our clients ("Aventureras"), MOTM tour guides, MOTM staff, Latin American (LATAM) locals, the people we partner in business with, etc. We truly believe that respect is a pillar in our organization that must always be upheld in order to create safe and joyful travel experiences. To that end, this Mujer on the Move Code of Conduct outlines the Aventurera conduct all clients are expected to uphold while on Experiences and Retreats with Mujer on the Move Inc. â€‹

Mujer on the Move expects all people involved in our Experiences and Retreats (clients, MOTM tour guides, contractors, suppliers, etc.) to adhere to our stated code of Conduct Outlined in this page.

HARRASSMENT

At Mujer on the Move we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all Aventureras and participants involved in our MOTM Experiences and Retreats. Although we hope that harassment and disrespectful events never happen, we want to emphasize that harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal harassment: Insults, threats, derogatory comments, or unwelcome sexual advances.

  • Physical harassment: Unwanted physical contact, intimidation, or aggression.

  • Online harassment: Cyberbullying, trolling, or spreading malicious rumors.

Reporting Harassment

If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately to a member of our team. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly and confidentially. You can report harassment by:

Consequences of Harassment

Individuals found to be engaging in harassment may be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

  • Warning

  • Exclusion from Experiences (with no refund) 

  • Expulsion from the retreat (with no refund)

At Mujer on the Move, we believe that open communication and mutual respect are essential for creating a positive and empowering community for all.

Please make sure you have read MOTM Code of Conduct carefully and fully agree to adhere by it when booking a MOTM Experience or Retreat as creating a safe, nurturing, and healing community for Latinas and mujeres Aventureras (21+) is of upmost importance to Mujer on the Move, Inc.
