A Bit About Mireya (Perez) Iglesias

Mujer on the Move, Inc. (MOTM) believes in the power of community and mentorship. As we grow our organization, MOTM is excited to have Mireya (Perez) Iglesias as our Marketing and Social Media Advisor! Read more about Mireya below.

Mireya (Perez) Iglesias is a proud first-generation Mexican-American born in Tucson, Arizona, and raised on both sides of the US-México border. A full-ride scholarship recipient, she attended Georgetown University, where she graduated in 2019 with a double major in Marketing and International Business and a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate years, Mireya studied abroad in Madrid, interned on Capitol Hill, and worked with a non-profit in Nicaragua. These experiences deepened her commitment to advocacy and her passion for community empowerment.

Mireya began her career in New York City as a brand marketing professional at PepsiCo, working on initiatives such as the UEFA Champions League partnership and the Pepsi x Peeps innovation. She also served as lead for PepsiCo’s Hispanic employee resource group and spearheaded undergraduate diversity recruiting for the marketing department.

Currently pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School, Mireya is co-president of the Latino Student Organization (LASO), a RISE and LunaCap Fellow. She is also the founder of Envisions Project, a 501c3 nonprofit foundation supporting first-generation and low-income students in Arizona through mentorship and scholarships. Upon graduation, Mireya will join Bain & Company full-time, further pursuing her passion for strategic problem-solving and impactful leadership.

When not working or studying, Mireya enjoys traveling with her husband, hosting dinners, playing volleyball, and reading a good fiction book with a cafecito.
